Max Peterson has been performing and releasing his unique brand of trance music under various project names since 1998. Max was born in San Diego, California in 1979, and spent most of his teenage years in France. He then developed his production and performance skills in California, Mexico, Spain, and every part of the planet with a vibrant trance scene. Max’s passion for music began at a young age. Max’s father Gary Peterson is a highly accomplished composer, guitarist, and keyboard player. Gary was a member of influential 60’s-70’s cult band “Formerly Fat Harry”. His band played next to legends such as Pink Floyd, Roy Harper, Third ear band, King Crimson, Fleetwood mac, to name a few… Max’s first tracks were recorded and produced by Gary when Max was just 14 years old. Upon moving to the U.S., Maxx joined the pioneering trance music collective and record store – The Ion Exchange in Santa Cruz – as co-owner and resident DJ. Maxx moved onto DJ’ing in San Francisco, playing for all the Bay Area’s trance venues including the trance collective CCC. He also performed at all the underground warehouse and outdoor events in Northern California. Max quickly gained respect for his stomping deep psychedelic sets. At this time he also toured Canada and other cities in the USA. In 2000, Max formed the seminal San Francisco trance project BIODEGRADABLE with Samy Guediche of CPU, and Nicolas Oesch of Mekkanikka. In 2001, they released their album Phaser which received great success at the time in the psychedelic scene and became a springboard for all members to launch their successful solo projects. In 2001, Max joined up with Davina Elmosnino and formed the trance project Sirius Isness. Sirius Isness went on to release more than 150 tracks on prestigious trance labels. Sirius releases 3 full length albums “Resolution of Duality, Breaking the Matrix , Trancefusion” and 1 compilation. The first album was released on Moon Spirits records in 2004, the second on Mind Control Records in 2005, and the third was released in 2006 on Phantasm records, accompanied by their compilation, Mind Your Own Isness. Sirius Isness has traveled to almost every country where trance parties happen. Their most popular destinations are Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, Greece, Australia to name a few. Max, then started in his solo project in 2007- MAD MAXX- the result of years of hard work, perfecting a unique sound, embodying all the travels, experiences and parties of the past 20 years. The music is a mix of trance, ethnic and deep sounds, with a strong kick and ominous bass line, an electro touch, emotional chants, and at times nostalgic atmospheres, with a BPM ranging from 138 to 145 in general. All of this sonic mayhem delivered in a whirlwind of psychedelia of course…. MAD MAXX has been delivering his live set to all trance freaks in the world on a weekly basis, and has collaborated with numerous artists…including JOHN 00 FLEMING, SKAZI, PIXEL, AVALON, ASTRIX, ELECTRIC UNIVERSE, SONIC SPECIES, BLOCK DEVICE, MENOG, TRISTAN, SPACE TRIBE, GMS, PAINKILLER , POLI, XSI, S-RANGE, VOYAGER (aka Altom), BIO-GENESIS, AUDIO X,, MEKKANIKKA , DIGITAL TALK, JOHN PHANTASM and more…. Olli Wisdom is the man behind the psychedelic phenomenon that is Space Tribe. Olli has been a pioneer of Psychedelic Trance for many years & Space Tribe is one of the most well known names in the psychedelic scene. In 1993, Olli, his brother Miki, and fellow space cadet, Richmond, started Space Tribe clothing in Bali. The fractal fluoro party gear was an instant success, and now you can see it at parties all over the planet. Space Tribe released the first album, ‘Sonic Mandala’ in 1996, and since then Space Tribe has released at least an album a year..
Stryker music is a solid mix of Psychedelic Trance, Full-on, Electro with a twist of Tech.
Barthelemy Bayona better known by his stage name Stryker, is a French international Psychedelic trance music DJ, engineer and producer. He is one of the most prominent artists from the French scene. Combining more than 18 years of career in the music industry, Stryker is the outcome of all this experience from the production angle as well as from the musical side. The result is a fat crystal clear production bound by no codes, always exploring and fine tuning every single track. And it’s all about making the people dance and
smile!
His tracks have reached the top of the charts many times, collaborating with artists such as Talamasca, GMS, Space Tribe, Sonic Species, Mad Maxx, Pixel, Mekkanikka and many more. As a DJ/Producer, Stryker always deliver such a positive experience on the dancefloor at any time of the day and in many events anywhere on the planet. Robert aka Robas, is a DJ, organiser, promoter and stage manager from Slovakia, who also carries in his heart the love of DJ’ing psychedelic trance.
His first contact with psytrance was when he was 13 years old! Robert attended his first party when he was only 15, which turned out to be a life changing moment for him, and a source of so much inspiration.
He began his DJ career back in 2011, and since then has played in several festivals and parties in Slovakia, Czech Republic which led him to visit countries such as the Netherlands, Poland, Macedonia and many more.
In 2020, after 10 passionate years of Dj’ing and 6 years of organising parties, one of Robert’s favourite artists Mad Maxx, scouted him out as being a man of values and hard work, gifted with a multitude of talents. Dj Robas was taken under Max’s wing, and since then, he has become an ambassador/DJ for his favourite label, United Beats Records.
Robas’s sets are full of positive energy and he will not let you grab a minute of rest from the energy he creates for the party, mixing a variety of styles ranging from Progressive Psy to Full on, to Psychedelic.
He has shared the stage with artists such as Atma, Boom Shankar, Cosmosis, Djantrix, Fobi, Hux Flux, Lunarave, Mad Maxx, Mekkanikka, Pantomiman, Reversed Logic, Talamasca, U-Recken, Wishi and more…
Robas is also the brain behind Dupanica, RetroSpektro, Tree of Life preparty, Celebration of Life and co-organiser of several psytrance parties such as HelloWeed, Galota Festival and Zahadum (psytrance) Stage on Basement Festival 2017.
